Networks are essential to the development and support of the medical technology sector in Berlin and Brandenburg. They can connect activities in a field or cross-sectional medical technology segment most efficiently. In addition, launching networks also serves as a test to see whether a medical technology field identified as potentially promising really does have the critical science and business mass needed to operate a cooperative network.
